Hidden Surprises

Today’s five minute Friday prompt word is “hide.” This is what comes to mind for me on this word…this past week:

“Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings.” Psalm 17:8

1. Our son wanted to hide from his Amoxicillin…two doses per day for ten days.  However…have two days off tears and two parent holding him for a syringe shoved in his mouth…by day three he accepted the “pink power” one ml at a time thru patient parents reading in between or time.  By day’s four to ten…he took the meds in a full five ml shot chased by ice water with no fussing or tears.  God hid the outcome of this process…but he answered my prayer.

2. We went outside on Earth Day to look for the Alphabet in Nature with our son’s kindergarten class.  The ABCs like to hide all around us.  Here are some of our sweet pics from that day.

  1. Well, he’s just too cute. đŸ™‚ Hope he’s feeling better and you get a break from the medicine battle!

  2. Wow, such fun – and great pics! Finding the alphabet in nature sounds like an adventure I’d like to take my 3 year old granddaughter on today. What a fantastic idea!

I’m just visiting from #FMF – and had a lovely visit, thanks!
