Musical Messages

Music gives me messages.  I love calm songs and upbeat ones.  My favorite songs are various genres and decades of awesomeness!

A messenger is one who sends a message.  I know Jesus was an amazing messenger of love poured out.  This song is lovely…it is by a new Twitter friend of mine who is a musician.  She is a messenger of the cross.  Her music is lovely.

Be with the readers of this blog.  You have brought us each here to this moment.

Forgive us when we feel alone.  We are never alone.

Give us strength for the journey, and help us to be brave in sharing Your message of love, forgiveness, and saving grace.

Help me give my heart, body, mind, and spirit to you.  All to you.

Matthew 10:40-42

“We are intimately linked in this harvest work. Anyone who accepts what you do, accepts me, the One who sent you. Anyone who accepts what I do accepts my Father, who sent me. Accepting a messenger of God is as good as being God’s messenger. Accepting someone’s help is as good as giving someone help. This is a large work I’ve called you into, but don’t be overwhelmed by it. It’s best to start small. Give a cool cup of water to someone who is thirsty, for instance. The smallest act of giving or receiving makes you a true apprentice. You won’t lose out on a thing.”
