Walking in the Light of Life

I have a history of depression and anxiety.  Really…I get anxious…then when it gets unbearable I get depressed.  This is more common in people than you think!  I have found many that struggle with this sort of thing among some of my closest friends and family.

Now…what does God’s Word have to say about this?  Plenty!  Today I found this…

1 John 1:5-10

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.

8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Where do you see light in the dark?  Our children sleep with night lights/lamps.  I even do as an adult!  We need to see where we are going.  It is so crucial to our safety and comfort.  Let God light your way today and always.  Make this day a day where you look for the Light of God.  Send me a comment on where you see His Light!

Much more people should come to see the value a belief in God may bring them. The seed implanted in all man, every person has the ability to come to see thelight the Divine Creator has given human kind.
It is only for each individual to make the right choices. God has given His only beloved son to the world to bring salvation from struggles, pain and death. People should come to see that beacon of light, and go to it in trust, finding peace and comfort.
