April Showers Bring May Flowers — A Reflection on Grace in The Little Things

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this bit blurry picture to remind me of my fatigue as a mom…waking those tired eyes…and this is what I see:

A fridge full of hand made pictures and a calendar full of family activities.

Clean(er) tile.  I had the chance to steam mop the kitchen and back patio this week.

Glittery red hearts…just as our youngest son loved creating this picture for me…Your Son loved me enough to shed His Blood for Me and Thee.

May today truly be a day of rest, celebration, and praise to You Father.

May we be still and know that You are here in our homes, families, churches, and communities.

20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. From Hebrews 13:19-21 New International Version

What wonderful things to be grateful and prayerful about! Love the shiny little red hearts in particular. Love in all its purity and simplicity!
