An Often Secret Vision

“The secret to having vision for your life? To cling to the Father, to know His mind & heart for you. To know who you are in Christ. And to be aware of your surroundings and landscape that you’ve been planted in.” —Stephanie Bryant

I often have this secret vision.  Clinging to the Father and knowing His ways are perfect, eternal, and right, I am okay.  I try to be aware of my surroundings and landscape…most of the time.  I love nature, my family, and my friends.  I see God’s gifts and grace around me.  I know that I am designed for this time as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  However, in secret I also doubt, have fears, and question am I doing this moment right?  Is there a right?  With God, I think yes.  He is our Father, and when we allow His voice, His Word, and His Holy Spirit to direct our thoughts, words, and deeds…we are different.  We are living the vision he has uniquely laid out for us…for me.

Dear Lord,

May I continue to seek you throughout the day from the time I rise to the time I rest.  Help us to see you as our Father who are in heaven and on Earth.  Give us strength to love others the way you would, and help me be patient with myself and with others when as we grow in the landscapes we have been sown into.

Amen.

Genesis 1:30

And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

  1. Hi Jennifer,
What lovely pictures and thoughts…prayed with you…I am constantly asking God to help me to love well because I know I cannot do it on my own feeble strength.

And yes, just like the beautiful diversity in nature, God made us each with unique and different gifts and landscapes to bloom in 🙂 Happy Friday 🙂
