Grace…Not Perfection

Grace is God given.  He gives us a beauty that is flawed and accepted.  I am reading Ann Voskamp’s 1,000 Gifts Devotional, thanks to my sweet sister in law.  It encourages me to look once again carefully for “God’s Glimmers of Grace.”  In seeing myself and others with glasses of grace, I have a much clearer and more joyful perspective.

He forgave, and I won’t forget.  I, too, must forgive myself.  I screw up.  My kids and husband make mistakes too.  It is with God’s grace and love that we move past the darkness of sin and into His light.

In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. (John 1:4, NIV)
